What is I.S.M(International students meeting)?
It’s an international community between Korean and international students to promote friendship and share their cultures. I.S.M is one of the Global Village Projects which is organized by Gwangju International Center with the sponsorship of the Hub City of Asian Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Theme(September):Trip to a hidden place in Gwangju: ’Hyanggyo’
We will go to the ‘Hyanggyo’, a local old-time school
belonging to the Confucian shrine

Program Content (Approximately 4hours)
Wearing Hanbok: Experience wearing Korean traditional costume.
Learning Bows: Learn how to do the Korean traditional bow.
Tea ceremony: Learn the Korean tea ceremony
Collaboration works: Get to know the differences between Korean culture and
other cultures.

We will meet at Migliore(밀리오레) in downtown at 1:30 p.m and go to the Hyanggyo together. (September 12th)
