Hoste Hainse has been providing education to the socially excluded, deprived and dalit children of the country who don't have excess to the education and whose parents couldn't afford for the education. This year 1454 children are being educated, however more fund is needed to cover expenses of 400 children. All the children get free education and have access to library, science lab, computer lab, and extra -curricular activities through Hoste Hainse Education Center.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Sarlahi District has low literacy rate, low human development index, slow pace of infrastructure development, and rampant poverty. The parents normally don't send their children to school because of poverty and lack of awareness. Children are forced to work in order to support their parents for livelihood. Children have to cross the flooded river which has no bridge in the rainy season taking an hour to reach the school.

How will this project solve this problem?

The children will be the change bearer to create awareness in the village after being educated. Local people will have access to the further development of the school. The project will spread the message to the community people to educate the children. The villagers will have other income generating opportunities when we successfully lunch this project. The children will also motivate the peers to enroll in the schools which ultimately make the educated society in the long run.

Potential Long Term Impact

The whole society has been sensitized about the value of education through the educated children. Parents will invest whatever they can for the higher education of their children. Educated/trained local people have an opportunity of employment as a teacher in the Hoste Hainse Education Centre. Each year around 30 socially excluded, marginalized, deprived and Dalit children will pass School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from our centre who can be fit for the higher studies anywhere.
