1)아파트: Apartment

Method of payment

(전세 Jeonse: key deposit) : You pay a big lump sum as a deposit at the biginning of your contract , but you don't pay monthly rent. You get your money back when you move out.

(월세 Wolse : monthly rent) 월세 Wolse is similar to conventional monthly rent system. You pay the small deposit (2~5 million won) to the landlord, and then pay monthly rents afterwards..

If you have a enough cash on your hands, 전세 is better. It's twice cheaper than Wolse월세.

Rental period :

1 or 2 years (imform to landlord before 2 months the expiration date)  

After lease contract, report to Dong office(down-road office) with a contract document. Goverment will protect your key money.
