What to bring: a water bottle (or two) I suggest at least a liter, tennis shoes/trainers, comfy work out clothes, a positive attitude
This is a free event!
It's that time of year again. Hearts and chocolate. Calories, definitely! Romance, maybe…not.
If you don't have a date, don't despair. You don't have to spend Valentine's alone! Come to Gwangju International Center hall for an aerobics dance class. Lisa Casaus will be leading some exercise routines that will let you stretch, dance, sweat and burn the calories away to the music.
Low fitness? No fitness? No problem. This will be low-key and low pressure. You can follow along or jog in place, all you have to do is try to keep moving for 50 minutes! Trust me, it is possible ;p
The music starts at 6:00 sharp, and we'll only have a few short breaks between songs for water, so try to get there ahead of time to get warmed up, find your place and meet some new friends.
Afterwards, we will head to a cafe to chat about our health and fitness goals for 2024. You can even enjoy some chocolate cake guilt-free since you'll have burned off tons of calories!
Feeling nervous about jiggling your flab in public? Don't worry, everyone else will be feeling the same. But dancing together has been scientifically proven to improve your mood. We might all look like flailing octopuses(or octopi), but our bodies will thank us.
So do your heart (physical and emotional) a favor, and who knows, you might just meet your next work out buddy, too!
